MΞTAMORPH: Dance for Change –

A Signature Category within UDO(SG)2025

MΞTAMORPH is the bold, cause-driven varsity and open category of the UDO Singapore Qualifiers, happening for the first time at One Punggol on 1–2 November 2025.

Presented under the global platform of the United Dance Organisation (UDO), MΞTAMORPH empowers teams to go beyond competition — using street dance to spotlight real-world issues through choreography, music, and visuals. Each crew chooses a meaningful cause and brings it to life on stage with powerful storytelling and full LED backdrop integration.

Expect two days of emotion, energy, and exceptional talent from Singapore’s top university and community dance crews.

Every movement is a message. Every dancer is a voice.
Join us — and witness dance become a force for change.

  • MΞTAMORPH Division is open to Singapore and International Teams.

SUPPORTING
THE CAUSE

A meaningful collaboration

For its very first chapter, UDO Singapore is proud to collaborate with Me2 Centre of Inclusive Arts. Me2 believes in the transformative power of the arts to uplift, empower, and unite. Their mission is to address the post-18 support gap for persons with disabilities and to ensure that the arts remain a lifelong platform for growth, expression, and inclusion.

This year, teams are invited to craft their performance around one of the following four themes:

THE
UNHEARD

Dance that reclaims voices that have been silenced or forgotten

(e.g. marginalised communities, persons with disabilities)

THE
UNSEEN

Dance that brings attention to those often overlooked

(e.g. caregivers, persons with disabilities, neurodivergence)

THE
UNSPOKEN

Dance that explores taboos and grief

(e.g. loss of imagined futures, loss of abilities)

THE
UNDOING

Dance that expresses joy, dignity, and transformation through truth, inclusion, and change

(e.g. reclaiming identity, celebrating neurodiversity,

turning pain into hope)
